Green Decorating in the Red

Decorating for Christmas does not have to cost an arm and a leg. Instead of going out and purchasing paper or plastic products from a big box store to use as serving pieces, I turned to a local thrift store. There I found everything needed for an outstanding looking table-scape. Going green does not mean you have to sacrifice on style. Here I am using a cut crystal theme on my table. First picture shows my purchases. Most items cost between .25 and .50 cents each. The second picture shows the end look. So next time you have an event to host, check out your local thrift stores, or goodwill centers. You will be surprised what you find, and go green at the same time.

Happy Holidays

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe Holiday Season. I am sorry that the postings have been slow. I have been trying to get everything ready to roll out for the new year for Up a Notch Staging. I am excited to see what 2010 has in store for the real estate market and the economy. Stay tuned, more to come.
